
TaiChi For Beginners
TaiChi lessons for beginners, will help increase balance, mental well being, core strength, and physical fitness: in a calm and gentle way.
When I first learnt TaiChi, over 30 years ago, it was not usual for doctors to recommend it to their patients; but 10 years later when I started teaching it, I found doctors were recommending TaiChi to most of my mature students. TaiChi made them feel stronger mentally and physically. Their balance got better as they started to trust their bodies: and they became more confident with their own movements.
TaiChi for beginners, videos below, were originally made for my students to practice at home, until they could remember it by themselves. Each lesson breaks down the moves and shows how to do it in slow motion as well as real time. Practice the lesson until your body knows it without watching the video, and then move on to the next lesson.
